Each year, the Tasmanian Little Athletics Association selects 3 State teams. They are:

• 11 boys & 11 girls from the Under 13's to compete in the ALAC's
• 2 boys & 2 girls from the Under 15's to compete in the ALAC Multi Events
• 4 boys & 4 girls from the Under 14's to compete in an Athletics Australia event
  

Clarence has a proud history of having representatives most years in these teams. To be eligible for selection, athletes should:

• Complete their 25 event badge
• Attend the coaching camp at Port Sorell in January (U13's)
• Compete at both All State meetings, and
• Be present at and compete in the State Individual Championships

Each week, Clarence Centre will forward U13 - U15 results to the TLAA selectors so that they have a clear idea as to who is performing, improving and committing to the sport.
